Can chiropractic care help with neck and back pain?
Absolutely, chiropractic care is very successful with neck and back pain. Neck and back pain makes up the large majority of what we treat.
Do you treat sciatica, headaches and pinched nerves?
Yes, these are all common conditions that we successfully treat at Jeffries Chiropractic. Most patients start to see results within a few visits.
Can you help after a car accident or work injury?
Car accidents and work injuries are considered muscle strain and joint sprain injuries which is exactly what chiropractic care focuses on. Along with our on-staff massage therapist, Jeffries Chiropractic can help through your recovery.
Do you treat kids, seniors and pregnant women?
At Jeffries Chiropractic we treat all ages of patients, from infants to older adults. All ages benefit from chiropractic care; it’s never too early or late to experience the results chiropractic care can provide. Gentle techniques are used for infants as well as an aging adult. Pregnant moms with breech presentation often benefit from Webster technique.
Do you offer massage therapy?
Yes, we have two fabulous Licensed Massage Therapists on staff during our normal office hours, including Saturday.
How soon can I get an appointment?
We do our best to schedule new patient appointments the same day.
Do you take walk-in new patients?
Yes, we take walk-in established patients and new patients. New or established patients are worked in among already scheduled patients. To insure the most efficient appointment time it is best to have an appointment, but we are happy to help.
How long does it take for a new patient appointment?
Generally under 45 minutes, although it does depend on patient’s severity and/or details of injury. We try to make every visit efficient without being rushed and always try to make sure all your questions are answered.
What should I expect during a first visit?
After filling out some new patient paperwork Dr. Jeffries will do a consultation to provide you with time to discuss your symptoms. Then an exam based on your symptoms will be performed, always allowing time for the patient to ask more questions. Then a plan of action will be discussed and patients receive treatment on the same day.
Do you take X-rays?
We no longer take X-rays, most current research has determined straight forward low back or neck pain can be resolved without the need for X-rays. If Dr. Jeffries determines there has been a significant trauma or “red flags” Indicating X-rays are needed he would refer patient to X-ray facility.
How long has Dr. Jeffries been practicing chiropractic?
Dr. Jeffries is a Palmer graduate, the oldest most respected chiropractic college for over 25 years experience.
Do I need a referral for a chiropractic visit?
Very few, if any insurance companies that we participate with require a referral for chiropractic care.
Can chiropractic care help with posture?
Yes, absolutely, with chiropractic adjustments, exercises and stretches posture can be helped.
Do you accept my insurance?
We accept most local insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid.
What does my insurance cover?
Insurance companies have many different plans. lt1s best to call your insurance company member number located on the back of card. Of course we will call during your first visit and inform you of your plan benefits.
How much does a visit cost without insurance?
As a new patient the current first visit is $100 ($60 for new patient exam and consultation) and $40 for a spinal adjustment.
